Public Washrooms in Japan are Worth Visiting

Have you ever struggled to find a washroom outside? In Japan, you don’t have to worry about finding one. On top of that, using Japanese public washrooms is worth your time.

You Easily Find Washrooms in Public

Almost all urban stations have at least one washroom, so you won’t have trouble of finding washroom when you take a train trip. Public parks are also equipped with washrooms. You need not spend time in Japan for searching washrooms.

You can usually find them in:

  • Stations (inside of ticket gate)
  • Parks
  • Shopping Mall

Washrooms are Nice and Clean

As far as I know, all public washrooms are managed by organisations such as train companies and city council. So, you don’t have to worry about the cleanliness.

Public Washrooms are Around You

Every 5 min walk will lead you to find public washrooms. But don’t expect a electronic bidet or a warm-water cleansing toilet seat in public washrooms. Have you ever heard that Japanese washrooms are equipped with a wonderful function? If you stay in hotels, you would experience a nice and warm time in a toilet. But, you might not have the same one in public.
